Nice

It has a unique style, much different from the original, but like Schrader said, you should add more vocals, and make them fit into the overall beat more, now that I think about, they don't fit at all. Also, the distortion is a little much to deal with, and I keep seeing all too much of it recently on NG. Besides those few things, it's great. Keep on keeping on!

ONESTEPAHEAD responds:

haha you figured it out XD the vocals dont match at all! there the wrong tempo but i cant get any closer, and as for the distortion i like it =)

Good

It sounds almost New wave 80's or something. I like it but there is much distortion from the base. I'm guessing you are using FL, which means this could easily be distorted. Another thing to note, is the string break in the middle. It's generally too long, and it feels as though it just keeps going, and going, and going. Also, the whole thing is just a rhythm. It has no melody, although the strings are close, they just don't bring it in. Other than that, I enjoyed it. The ending is really nice, and the bass and other instruments you used to build it up really fit. Good job. :D

Blueragebar responds:

Thanks for the review :). I appreciate your constructive criticism.

Yeah.

The song is pretty good. There is a lot of distortion, but it fits the steampunk genre. The bass is too low at certain parts though, it doesn't sound right at all. But yeah, I know I have heard this before. And no, it's not willy wonka. It's the Legend of Zelda Oot.

DAFORCEFilms responds:

You know, I didn't put a base into this remix, but their is a low string harp, that may be it.

Wow...

this song is amazing. What you were talking about, that feeling it gives you, that feeling is ace on. I really haven't heard anything like this, and it sounds good. I wish this was more popular.

bobafett87 responds:

Yeah, me too.
You should try listening to bands like Skalpel and The Real Tuesday weld!

thanks for the helpful review!

Wow

Yeah, it sounds good. Very funky, and funny relating to the phone. Also, it sounds like Daft Punk, probably because of the vocoder though. Anyway, it loops well, good job.

snayk responds:

No vocoder used. I used a talkbox.

Thanks for the review!

Ah,

the memories.

Simple

It actually a really simple chord progression, and all the synths and drums used were pretty average, but the effects you used made the rest sound great. Good job man.

Oh, how fitting.

If I heard correctly, is the intro a sample of Cold Play perhaps?
